The Faceless
by Simon Sestwick
Solaris, $8.99, 479pp
Release Date: January 31, 2012

Faceless is by the author of Tomes of Death.

A mist hangs over the Lancashire town of Kempforth . People are vanishing and the Spindly men are in the mist as well. But the people who die become wanderers making more death and walking dead. Only local historian, Anna Mason may hold the key as they take over England on the way to wiping out life.

A well-written horror story with good characters and action to the last page. It is a downer with a touch of hope at the end. If you like horror with unique twist you will love this one. ~~ Pam Allan
